A collaborative club between White Rabbit and Prop Remedies, where children design and create their own props and scenery with a professional Prop designer.

This Club is an exciting new addition to the White Rabbit Family: a creative prop design club. These sessions will be initially starting at lunchtime at the Middle Site at St Mary's School Twickenham, with a view to adding day workshops serving the wider community.

This club will focus on Prop building and Theatre design, encouraging imagination and introducing the children to new art techniques and making 3D objects.

It's wonderful that we have professional prop designer, Thea Collins joining us for this class. She can really give the kids an insider look into this side of the entertainment industry.

The children will craft objects like: Wild West wanted posters, safe for theatre foam Swords, vintage sign writer letter posters with their Initial, clay pots, old fashioned treasure maps, magic wands and collaborative larger scenery pieces.

Let us know if you want WRDC and Props Remedies to pop into your school for a themed workshop or lunchtime club.

Thea has worked in film and television as a Graphic prop designer for the past 15 years. She spent 10 years working for Keir Lusby at Shepperton Studios, one of the most well respected prop making companies in the industry.

As head of their graphics department Thea managed a team of graphic designers working in the areas of feature films, period dramas and light entertainment.
