I signed up my 3 kids for Halloween Half term...They were so excited. Each day they came back with dozens of little stories about new friends and new skills picked up on the day...thank you Anna & Katie for all the fun and instruction!

NEWS & UPDATES
London New Years Day Parade
On 1st January, White Rabbit joined forces with dance troupes, a marching band, horses from Royal Parks and the Mayor, in representing the Borough of Richmond Upon Thames at LNYDP 2020. Team Richmond secured 2nd place in the Parade's Borough Competition, winning £9000 for the Mayoral charities and footage of the event was captured by US TV channels and London Live. We're so delighted to have been part of this amazing experience and so proud of the children who joined us and took part with such confidence in front of thousands of spectators - what an incredible achievement!
Spring/Summer Theatre Trips
We have some great Unicorn Theatre trips coming up this year and with a little forward planning, we've secured top tier tickets at the lowest possible price for pupils!
Gulliver's Travels - Saturday 21st March
(Year 3 - Year 7)
A modern adaptation of a masterpiece. This exciting new production combines film and live performance to create a unique play that is sure to be a true reflection of the Unicorn's aim to create engaging and unpatronising theatre for young audiences.
Robotology - Saturday 23rd May

This brand new project stems from research & development carried out with a wide range of children. Acclaimed children's theatre director and creator Sarah argent, specialises in gathering children's own words & ideas and giving them a voice on stage with the use of professional actors and an incredible venue.
WRDC SHOWCASE 2020
In June 2020, all Year 2 - Year 7 pupils will be taking part in our Summer Showcase at The Exchange Theatre, Twickenham.
Feeling relaxed is one of the most important aspects of acting and in order for the children to feel calm, confident and non-pressured, we describe the showcase as 'a sharing of work that happens to take place in a professional theatre'.
We offer independent rehearsal time slots for each class in the theatre itself, to allow them to confidently transfer their work from classroom to stage. A final, whole group rehearsal takes place before the performance.
Students are encouraged to create work with minimal technical requirements, using their voice and body to bring the play to life. With fewer technical and set requirements, children are free to explore and enjoy their time on stage without lengthy 'tech runs' and with the freedom to improvise if they wish.
Showcase is a non-profit event and with the support of parents, the Exchange, and our friends in the arts community, we charge no more than £30 per child to take part in the experience. This is a one off payment, including 4 tickets to the show per family and, in keeping with our ethos, there are no 'hidden extras'. We also offer bursaries for those who need, making this an open and inclusive event for all to enjoy, regardless of their means.
